I truly believe that the food has to be fast and easy to make. This whole thing of spending hours in the kitchen for preparing and cooking is definitely not for me. I want to enjoy my live and despite the fact that cooking actually brings me joy I prefer to spend more quality time with my family and friends. At the end of the day we have to eat to live, not live to eat, right? But don’t get me wrong, that doesn't mean that I am willing to sacrifice the quality and the nutritional value of the food over the convenience. Not at all! I just believe that it is possible to have it all - tasty and healthy in no time!
And this is the reason why I am so excited to present you my Raw Vegan Chocolate Truffles! Because they are so easy to make and so amazingly delicious that for me it was a love of first side (or maybe bite will be more accurate). Anyway, I am not sure that the words can describe those little pieces of heaven.You just have to try them! And trust me, you don’t need to be a vegan to like them. Those little babies are to die for so I am sure that every experienced chocolate lover will instantly fall in love with them.
So without any further ado here is the recipe
- 1 dose of my Vegan Raw Chocolate
- 6 tbsp almond meal
For the topping:
- Raw cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- Coconut flakes
I used my Vegan Raw Chocolate (if you haven't got the chance to see it you can do it here) as a base for my truffles and I've simply added almond meal to the mixture. Mix everything well together with a spoon and when you are ready, form small balls with your hands. I made around 20. Place the topping of your choice in a flat plate (I've used raw cocoa powder and coconut flakes but you can use whatever you want) and roll the balls in it until they are all covered with the topping. And that’s it! You have your own Vegan Raw Chocolate Truffles! Bon appetit!
